Lisa Adams is an American painter. Combining images of dystopic environments and unlikely human-built structures, she is best known for her oil paintings of imaginary worlds that address both personal and collective realities. Her paintings reference a significant shift in our thinking and our planet.
Adams has created a unique print in collaboration with Bert Green Fine Art in Chicago and Aardvark Letterpress in Los Angeles. “Life A-Z” is a combination of letterpress and cutout thin, veneer wood shapes which are adhered to the paper; making each print a handmade object. The artist’s signature style is a mashup of colors, shapes, and images collected from her surroundings in the urban landscape of Los Angeles.
